I have been a registered personal and business risk management and insurance adviser since 2007. Prior to this, I was a professional artist in jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance. I then went on to become a dance instructor working mostly with children between the ages of 5 and 11.
Following this, I spent 12 years with a major global airline as a Chief Purser. During my tenure with the airline, I was based in Hong Kong.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. This qualification is supported through the completion of a number of insurance and risk management courses and attendance to numerous supplier training events. I am currently studying towards a National Certificate in Financial Services.
In 2007 I moved to New Zealand where I live on the North Shore with my wife of 19 years, Shaheen, and our 2 young boys, Liam and Ethan. I am passionate about family and believe that every child has the right to the life they want and that as parents, we support them to reach their full potential. On moving to New Zealand, I commenced working as a financial advisor for a boutique company whose general manager became my mentor encouraging me to go ino my own business.
In 2008, I set up LESA Financial Solutions Limited, a company that is committed to protecting New Zealand families. As you may have identified from the names of my family, the company is named after them all - the people closest and dearest to me.
As a professional who is committed to this career, I am passionate about delivering a personal touch to all my clients with service that is second to none. Clients are supported every step of the way, from the initial meeting and the planning phase, through to product selection, policy implementation and importantly during claims processes when support is critical.
